Sponsored Cycle Ride (Sunday 27th May)
Hartland football club will be holding a sponsored cycle ride from Braunton to Meeth (aprox 30 miles) on Sunday 27th May. The ride is to raise funds for the club and will  follow the tarka trail (old railway line), leaving Braunton 9am Sunday morning and finishing sometime Sunday at a local pub in Meeth. Sponsorship forms can be obtained for those wishing to take part from either Russell Sharman or Liam Reynolds.

3rd team stripped of point against Bradworthy (17th May)
The 3rd team have been stripped of their point gained at home during the 5 all draw against Bradworthy, for fielding 3 senior players (rule 8.C). Thought this rule had been removed this season due to club pressure, obviously not then. This now put Hartland bottom of the league again with Merton 1 point above and only the home game against Appledore to go.

Season finishes on a high for 1st & 2nd teams (13th May)
The 1st team won their last game of the season at home 5 - 1 against Landkey town, finishing 6th in Intermediate 1. The 2nd team also finished their season with a win, away at Pilton Academicals 2 - 1 and finished 10th in Intermediate 2. The 3rd team drew 5 all at home to local rivals Bradworthy on Sunday and will avoid bottom spot if they can keep the goals scored against them below 39 in their last two games.

Busy weekend for 2nd team (6th May)
The 1st team beat Equalizers at home 7 - 3 thanks to a hat-trick from Dan Slee, 2 from Rick Davey and 1 each from Wayne Hobbs & Jack Coleman. The 2nd team had a busy weekend with an away trip to Fremington reserves on Saturday, which they lost 3 nil and an away trip to South Molton reserves on the Sunday, which they won 4 - 1.

1st & 3rd team's midweek action (2nd May)
The 1st team could only manage a nil all draw away at 2nd bottom Putford reserves. The 3rd team lost at home 1 - 4 against Bude extra.

1st team draw & 2nd team loose (28th Apr)
The 1st team earned a nil all draw away at Equalizers keeping their fine run going and the 2nd team lost at home 2 nil to Fremington. The 3rd team's game away at Merton was called off due to the weather.

1st team in fine form & 3rd's loose points (24th Apr)
The 1st team are currently in fine form after winning 4 - 2 at home against Northam Lions, their 4th league win in a row and the 6th win in the last 7. The 3rd team have been stripped of their 6 - 1 win away at Morwenstow for fielding a ineligible player and are now only 2 points off bottom spot.

Good wins for 1st & 2nd teams (22nd Apr)
The 1st team won 1 nil at home against promotion contenders Ilfracombe Town on Saturday and the 2nd team won 2 nil at home on Sunday to bottom of the league South Molton in a fiery encounter. The 3rd team conceded their away game on Sunday against Bridgerule as they were unable to raise a team.

3rd team win again (17th Apr)
The 3rd team win their 5th league game of the season, the 2nd in a row away to Morwenstow 1 - 6, thanks to a hat-trick from Wayne Hobbs and 1 each from J. Coleman, L. Reynolds & R. Tape. The 2nd team have again been stripped of a win for using more than 2 intermediate one players in last weeks 5 nil win against Chittlehampton.

A fine win for 2nd team (14th Apr)
The 2nd team produced another fine performance and beat Chittlehampton reserves 5 nil at home in Intermediate two but were stripped of last weeks win against North Molton Sports club, for using 3 intermediate one players.

3rd team move off bottom spot (12th Apr)
The 3rd team won their 4th league game of the season 3 - 1 at home against fellow strugglers Merton and move off the bottom spot.

A good away win for 1st team (11th Apr)
The 1st team won their 12th game of the season in a tough encounter away at Woolacombe & Mortehoe.

A good win for Hartland's 2nd team (8th Apr)
The 2nd team won 6 - 2 at home against North Molton Sports Club, thanks to a hat-trick from Russell Sharman and 1 each from M. Colwill, S. Heard & P. Parker. The 3rd team lost at home to Kingsley league leaders, North Petherwin 1 - 6.

Another mixed weekend for Hartland (1st Apr)
The 2nd team drew 2 all at home against Anchor Chiefs on Saturday and won 1 nil away at Georgeham & Croyde on Sunday. The 3rd team won their 3rd game of the season by beating Lewdown at home 4 - 3.
Hartland's 3rd team are thrown out of the sub cup
The expulsion from the sub cup was for fielding ineligible players and is not altogether surprising. Hartland could only field 8 players who had played the required number of league games, to be eligible to play in the game against Week St Mary anyway, still 1 less game to worry about.


A good weekend for Hartland's 1st & 2nd teams (3rd Mar)
The 1st team won 3 nil at home against Merton and the 2nd team drew 1 all away at Northam Lions. The 3rd team started their away game against local rivals Bradworthy with 8 men and held the home team to only one goal until the rest of their players arrived, alas Hartland ended up loosing 4 - 1 in the end.

Another mixed weekend for Hartland (8th Mar)
The 1st team lost 3 - 1 away at league leaders Northside Atlantic and the 2nd team lost 10 nil in the North Devon Journal Cup away to Braunton 4th's. The 3rd team faired better with a home win over Week St Mary in their combined league and sub cup game. The game finished 1 all after 90 min, giving both teams a point for the league and 2 - 1 to Hartland after extra time.

A mixed weekend for Hartland's teams (11th Mar)
The 1st team won 1 - 4 away at AFC Anchor while the 2nd team lost 2 nil at home to Buckland Brewer and the 3rd team lost 4 - 5 at home to Bridgerule.

Player ID cards
All Players that don't have their photo taken this weekend by their manager MUST provide a photo of themselves to the club for their player ID card for next season, or you will not be able to play. The photo must include the chest upwards, without glasses (if worn) and without a hat, see example to right.

A good weekend for Hartland (3rd Mar)
The 1st team won 2 - 3 away at Landkey Town and the 2nd team won 4 - 1 at home to Pilton Academicals. The 3rd team was called off as the pitch was too wet to play on.

3rd team go down to league leaders (26th Feb)
The 3rd team lost 6 - 2 away at league leaders North Petherwin in the only Hartland game played this weekend.

A good cup win for 2nd team (19th Feb)
The 1st team lost a close away cup game against High Bickington 4 - 3 on penalties after it finished 1 all in normal time. The 2nd team won their home cup game 6 - 4 thanks to a Russ Sharman hat-trick and 1 each from P. Parker, P. Pennington & I. Pillman. The 3rd team game was switched to Merton as the Hartland pitch was unfit to play on Sunday but was called off as the Merton pitch was also unplayable.

A good win for the 1st team (13th Feb)
The 1st team beat local rivals Woolsery 8 nil at home and the 3rd team lost 4 - 1 away to league leaders Ashwater.

No Games Played this weekend (29th Jan)
The 1st team's game was called off as their opponents had to complete a cup game and the 3rd team's game was called off by Bude.

A good weekend for all Hartland's teams (22nd Jan)
All 3 teams won their matches this weekend, the 1st team went to Woolacombe & Mortehoe beating them 3 - 5 in the Arlington cup, thanks to 4 goals from Ryan Tape & 1 from Richard Davey and now face High Bickington away in the next round. The 2nd team beat Bratton Fleming 3 - 2 at home in the North Devon Journal Cup and now face Fremington or North Molton SC at home in the next round. The 3rd team won their 2nd game of the season 1 nil away to fellow strugglers Week St Mary, to move off the bottom spot.

A poor weekend for Hartland (15th Jan)
The 1st team lost a close home encounter against AFC Anchor 3 - 4, while the 2nd team lost heavily away at Barnstaple FC 9 nil. The 3rd team didn't fair much better and lost 1 - 6 at home to Stratton Utd in their 4th meeting of the season (Stratton won all 4).

A good start to the year for 1st team (7th Jan)
The 1st team started the year off with a home win against Braunton 3rd's 4 - 2, while the 3rd team didn't have such a good start and lost 6 nil away at local rivals Kilkhampton.

Another mixed weekend (11th Dec)
The 1st team won in style 7 - 2 at home against Sporting Burum, with Dan Slee bagging five goals and Jack Coleman & Joe Dakin chipping in with 1 apiece. The 3rd team lost 4 - 9 at home against Stratton Utd in their Hutchings cup 2nd round tie. Stratton's fitness told in the second half in what can only be described as difficult playing conditions to earn a semi-final tie against local rivals Bude.

A good win for 1st team (27th Nov)
The 1st team beat local rivals Woolsery reserves 4 nil at Woolsery, while the 2nd team lost 5 nil at home to 2nd in the league Barnstaple FC. The 3rd team game was called off on Sunday due to a waterlogged pitch.

3rd team out of Pickard Cup (20th Nov)
The 1st team lost 2 - 1 away at Braunton Thirds and the 2nd team lost 5 - 1 away to 3rd in their league, Bratton Fleming Res. The 3rd team narrowly lost 4 - 5 at home to Stratton Utd in an entertaining Pickard Cup 2nd round tie. Stratton's winner came with just 1 minute of the game left, thus avoiding extra time.

A mixed weekend (12th Nov)
The 1st team lost at home 3 nil to 3rd in their league, Northside Atlantic and the 2nd team won 3 - 4 away to 4th in their league, Braunton 4th's. The 3rd team cup game was called off on Sunday.

Only 1st team play (5th Nov)
The 1st team game was the only Hartland game played this weekend and they lost 4 -1 away to Ilfracombe Town Res.

A poor weekend (29th Oct)
The 1st team lost away at Merton 3 - 1 and the 2nd team suffered a heavy defeat 1 - 6 at home to league leaders Torridgeside, after a promising start for the home side. The third team game against North Petherwin was postponed due to lack of players.

1st team win again (22nd Oct)
The 1st team record their 2nd away win of the season by beating 4th in league High Bickington 3 - 1. The 2nd team narrowly lost 2 - 1 away at Chittlehampton and the third team game was postponed.

A good weekend for 3rd team (16th Oct)
The 1st team lost 3 - 1 away at league leaders Fremington and the 2nd team narrowly lost 1 nil away to 4th in the league Anchor Chiefs. The third team however won 4 - 3 at home against Kilkhampton in the 1st round of the Hutchings Cup and now face Stratton in the next round.

A disappointing weekend for 3rd team (9th Oct)
With only the 3rd team playing this weekend, Hartland struggled to field a team and lost 6 - 1 away at Stratton United on Sunday.

Hartland's 1st team unlucky (2nd Oct)
The 1st team lost 1 nil at home to Woolacombe & Mortehoe in an exciting match with Hartland unable to take any of their chances. The 3rd lost 3 - 7 at home to league leaders Holsworthy, after taking the lead in an evenly matched 1st half.

Hartland's 3rd team keeper was attacked on the way to the match on Sunday but still turned up to play despite a bad injury to his hand. He played a full game as a striker, then went to hospital after the game and was kept in over night, for an operation on his hand the next day. Now that's what I call commitment to the cause, Get well soon Stuart.


Another mixed weekend for Hartland (25th Sep)
Hartland's 1st team won 5 - 1 at Northam Lions Res thanks to a Hat-trick from Joe Dakin (not R. Davey as formally stated) & 2 from D. Slee, while the 2nd team lost 3 - 4 at home to Braunton 4th and the 3rd team lost 2 - 5 at home to Kilkhampton Res on Sunday., while the 2nd team lost 3 - 4 at home to Braunton 4th and the 3rd team lost 2 - 5 at home to Kilkhampton Res on Sunday.

A Poor weekend for Hartland (18th Sep)
Hartland's 1st team lost 2 - 3 at home to Woolacombe & Mortehoe in the inter cup 1st round, while the 2nd team lost 4 - 1 away at North Molton Sports Club in the league and the 3rd team suffered a heavy  home defeat 1- 10 to Ashwater.

Bad weekend for 2nd & 3rd's (11th Sep)
Hartland's 1st team drew a tough encounter 1 all at home against newly promoted Fremington, while the 2nd team lost 6 nil away at Torridgeside res and the 3rd team lost 8 - 1 at Bude.

Mixed midweek (7th Sep)
Hartland's 1st team won their 2nd game of the season, a thumping 7 nil at home to local rivals Clovelly and the 2nd team lost by the same score, away at Buckland Brewer.

Good Start for 2nd team (3rd Sep)
The 1st team drew 4 all away at Sporting Burum with Hartland's first hat-trick of the season courtesy of R. Davey and 1 from D. Slee. The 2nd team beat Northam Lions 3rd team at home 3 - 1, maintaining their unbeaten start to the season with 3 wins out of 3.

Mixed night (30th Aug)
The 1st team won their 1st game of the season with a 4 - 3 victory at home over Putford res, meanwhile the 3rd team lost 3 nil away at Appledore, with all 3 goals scored in the first half.

Goal fest (27th Aug)
The 1st & 3rd team's Game were called off but there was still plenty of goals to be seen as the 2nd team beat Bratton Fleming at home 6 - 5 in a goal fest of a match.

Midweek games (24th Aug)
The 1st team lost away at local rivals Clovelly 3 - 1 and the 2nd team won their season opener 2 nil at home against AFC Anchor Res.

The 1st team let a point slip as they went down at home 2 - 3 to a last min winner from High Bickington. The 3rd team had a better start to their season with a 3 - 1 win over local rivals Morwenstow, with all 3 goals coming from the same family (Billy 2 & Charlie Wickfield).
