2nd team draw as 1st team game called off (27th Feb) once again this season the weather has halted play as the Hartland pitch is to wet to play on. The 2nd team game away to Chittlehampton did take place, resulting in a 2 all draw. 1st & 2nd team loose (20th Feb) The 1st team lost away to local rivals Bradworthy and remain bottom of their league, despite their improved performances of late. The 2nd team lost at home to Bratton Fleming but could have won, if they had taken their chances. Hartland 2nd's were 2 nil up at half time and looked set for only their 4th win of the season, when 2 mistakes allowed the visitors to draw level, after which Hartland then lost all their earlier composure as well as their keeper, to finished the game 2 goals adrift of the visitors. Both the 3rd team's cup games (Sat & Sun) were called off due to the weather. 1st team show spirit (13th Feb) Hartland showed no sign of fear in this top meets bottom clash, in fact you would have never known Hartland were the leagues bottom team. Hartland pressed, harried and out fought Boca in the first half but were unable to maintain their work rate and suffered in the second half as Boca took control and won a game, they must have thought was going to be much easier to win this game than it actually was. 2nd team gain 3rd win of season (6th Feb) The 2nd team won their 3rd game of the season 4 - 1 at home to Barnstaple FC. Meanwhile the 1st team game at Morwenstow was postponed and the 3rd team lost 6 nil at home to 3rd placed Lifton. Bad weather hits 3rd team game (31st Jan) Hartland's 3rd team game away to new boys and league leaders was cancelled today due to snow. |
